The 2D1N flagship carries a premium — $900 per guest per night against $700 — because it compresses every headline site into one loop with a single overnight. The day charter is its own animal: a maximum 16-hour sprint at $10,000 flat for up to 20 guests, then $500 per additional guest to a ceiling of 35, the only LASHA program that exceeds her overnight complement of 26.

How the whole-boat ladder works above 14 guests
From guest fifteen upward, the whole-boat total steps with the group — and free-of-charge places begin. On every overnight route the FOC scale starts at 15 paying guests (+1 free place) and rises to +4 FOC at 21–22 paying guests. On the Komodo multi-night band, the whole-boat leisure total moves from $10,800 at 1–14 guests to $17,000 at 22; the 2D1N moves from $12,600 to $19,800 across the same range. The FOC places matter more than they look. A 22-guest celebration charter on the Komodo band effectively carries four guests free — tour leaders, grandparents, the photographer — already inside the published total. No negotiation required, because it is printed in the table.
What the price includes — and what it does not
Every LASHA charter includes exclusive use of the entire vessel — all 10 ensuite staterooms across her four decks, the sun-deck jacuzzi, Living Room and Dive Deck — plus full-board dining prepared on board throughout, and the complete professional crew around the clock, captain to galley. Charged separately:
Komodo National Park and marine-reserve entrance fees are the main one, and they are per person, per night, on top of the charter fee: $25 per guest per night on the multi-night and expedition bands, $35 per guest per night on the 2D1N, and $35 per guest per day on the day charter. For fourteen guests on two nights, budget $700 in park fees on the standard band. Also outside the charter fee: flights to and from Labuan Bajo, dive equipment, alcoholic drinks, spa services and land transfers — each confirmed at booking, in writing, before any deposit.
One more line item to know: the relocation fee. LASHA is home-ported in Labuan Bajo. Boarding instead in Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa or Alor outside her scheduled positioning windows carries a relocation charge, confirmed at booking through Komodo Luxury.
Do rates change by season?
No — and this is worth pausing on, because it is unusual. The published tables hold flat across 2026 and 2027, dry season and wet. Komodo's dry season runs roughly April to October; the wetter months bring rougher seas but the year's best manta activity, peaking December to March. On most fleets the wet season is discounted; on LASHA the same rate simply buys emptier anchorages and mantas at their busiest. If your group can travel December–March and cares about mantas more than mirror-flat seas, the value equation quietly tilts your way. Step 2 — hold and contract. Available dates are held while Komodo Luxury issues the charter confirmation: named vessel, exact dates, guest count, total price, inclusions and payment schedule, in writing. Read the payment schedule line carefully — it states the deposit amount and the balance deadline for your specific charter.
Step 3 — deposit. The deposit converts the hold into a confirmed booking; it is the first instalment of the charter price, not an extra fee, and it comes off the total.
