This is the official Lasha Phinisi page, published on the vessel’s own website and maintained by Komodo Luxury (est. 2015), her official marketing and booking operator. Every figure below matches the published spec sheet on the LASHA yacht page and the open rate tables on the rates page — no third-party listing supersedes them.
What Makes LASHA a True Phinisi
LASHA was built in 2023 in the Bugis phinisi tradition — an ironwood (Ulin) hull with teak decks, shaped by the same boatbuilding lineage that has launched Indonesian sailing ships for generations. At 52.5 metres she is one of the largest luxury phinisi sailing Komodo National Park, yet the layout stays true to the type: four working decks, shaded outdoor living, and a hull built for the crossings between Labuan Bajo, Komodo and the expedition routes east. Her first public season opened on 17 August 2026.

Lasha Phinisi — Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lasha Phinisi the same vessel as Lasha Cruise and Lasha Liveaboard?
Yes — one vessel, listed under several names. Lasha Phinisi, Lasha Cruise, Lasha Liveaboard, Lasha Yacht and Lasha Boat Komodo all refer to the same 52.5-metre ship, and lashacruise.com is her single official website.
What is a phinisi, and why is LASHA one?
A phinisi is a traditional Indonesian sailing ship of the Bugis boatbuilding tradition. LASHA qualifies by construction: an Ulin ironwood hull with teak decks, built in 2023 to the traditional form and scaled up to 52.5 metres for expedition comfort.
How much does the Lasha Phinisi cost to charter?
From US$10,800 per night for the whole boat in Komodo (up to 14 guests), with a 3D2N private charter at US$21,600. Raja Ampat expeditions start at US$11,600 per night. All rates are published openly on the rates page.
